We are looking for a capable Energy Analyst to join our team, working fully remotely from anywhere in the country. In this role you will be a key member of our Analytics function, contributing directly to our goals and working closely with talented colleagues across the business.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact. You will apply your skills in Energy Modeling, Data Analysis and Excel to solve interesting problems, ship work you can be proud of and help us raise the bar for what we do. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share your ideas openly and have the support you need to do your best work and grow along the way.
You will bring around 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and strong, practical knowledge of Energy Modeling, Data Analysis and Excel. Just as important are clear communication, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with people across different teams and backgrounds.
Within your first few months, you will get up to speed with our products, processes and people, build strong working relationships across the team, and begin taking ownership of your own work. Responsibilities
As a Energy Analyst at Crest Solutions, you will play a central role within our Analytics function and take ownership of a broad and varied set of responsibilities. Working alongside a collaborative, motivated team, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:- Translate complex findings into simple, compelling stories for decision-makers.
- Support planning, forecasting and performance tracking with robust analysis.
- Document methodologies, assumptions and definitions so work is transparent and reproducible.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities and present recommendations clearly.
- Query, clean and combine data from multiple sources to answer business questions.
- Build reports, dashboards and analyses that give stakeholders timely, reliable insight.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reports and analyses.
- Partner with stakeholders to define problems, hypotheses and success metrics.
- Gather, document and analyse business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve data availability and quality.
- Continuously look for ways to automate and streamline reporting.
- Champion data-informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Plan and manage your workload to balance quality, speed and competing demands.
