About the role

Leela Dairy is a Automotive company founded in 2009 and based in Ghaziabad, India. As a mid-sized company of 201 to 500 employees, we combine the pace, ambition and ownership of a modern business with a genuine commitment to quality, integrity and the people who work here. Since 2009, Leela Dairy has grown from a Ghaziabad venture into a trusted automotive player across Tier-2 India. Its offerings are designed to be accessible, multilingual, and suited to first-time digital users. You can learn more about us at https://www.leeladairy.in.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, early-career Trainee Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team, working on a hybrid basis from our Ghaziabad office and from home. In this role you will be a key member of our Human Resources function, contributing directly to our goals and working closely with talented colleagues across the business.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact. You will apply your skills in Recruiting, Sourcing and Interviewing to solve interesting problems, ship work you can be proud of and help us raise the bar for what we do. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share your ideas openly and have the support you need to do your best work and grow along the way.

This role is open to fresh graduates and those early in their careers (0 to 1 years of experience). We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in Recruiting and Sourcing, a hunger to learn, attention to detail and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Above all, we value curiosity, ownership and a positive attitude.

Within your first few months, you will get up to speed with our products, processes and people, build strong working relationships across the team, and begin taking ownership of your own work. Over time, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise, take on broader scope and grow your career with us as the company continues to scale.

In return, we offer a supportive, inclusive and collaborative environment, competitive pay, meaningful benefits and the chance to do work that genuinely matters. We care about our people, invest in their growth and want everyone here to be able to do the best work of their careers.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Leela Dairy is an equal-opportunity employer: we welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Apply today and tell us why you would be a great fit.

Responsibilities

As a Trainee Talent Acquisition Specialist at Leela Dairy, you will play a central role within our Human Resources function and take ownership of a broad and varied set of responsibilities. Working alongside a collaborative, motivated team, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build effective, inclusive hiring processes.
- Coordinate employer-branding activities to attract and retain top talent.
- Design and deliver onboarding experiences that set new joiners up for success from day one.
- Support learning, development and career-growth programmes across the organisation.
- Administer HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles and policy updates.
- Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
- Support employee engagement, retention and relations initiatives that strengthen company culture.
- Continuously improve HR processes, tools and documentation for efficiency and a great employee experience.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offers and onboarding.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees on HR questions, concerns and grievances.
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion in everything from hiring to day-to-day practices.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate constructively in team meetings, stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives.
- Contribute actively to a positive, inclusive, supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and keep all relevant systems, tools and trackers up to date.
- Collaborate respectfully and effectively with colleagues across teams, functions, time zones and locations.
- Represent the team and the company professionally in internal and external interactions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and bring forward practical ideas to make our products, processes and ways of working better.
- Communicate progress, risks and blockers clearly and proactively to your manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively flag dependencies and coordinate with other teams to keep work moving smoothly.
- Uphold the company's values, policies, security requirements and standards of professional conduct in all activities.
- Ensure your work meets agreed quality, compliance and security standards before it is considered complete.
- Support and step in for teammates when needed to help the team meet its shared goals.
- Adapt to changing priorities and remain calm, focused and effective in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Plan and manage your workload to balance quality, speed and competing demands.
- Continuously develop your skills, seek feedback and stay current with the latest developments in your field.
