Responsibilities
• Define system architecture, standards, and technical roadmaps• Evaluate and choose frameworks, tools, and design patterns
• Review designs across teams and guide best practices
• Plan for scalability, security, reliability, and cost
• Resolve complex technical challenges and de-risk delivery
• Set standards for testing, observability, and code quality
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers
• Align technical decisions with product and business goals
• Lead architecture reviews and key technical decisions
What we're looking for
• 8-14 years in software engineering, including architecture work• Deep expertise across backend, data, and system design
• Strong grasp of scalability, security, and integration patterns
• Experience with cloud and distributed systems
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders
• Good to have: experience with microservices and event-driven design
• Good to have: prior technical leadership across multiple teams
