Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers• Monitor server health, uptime, capacity, and performance
• Manage backups, recovery, and regular patching
• Handle user access, permissions, firewalls, and security policies
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, storage, and network issues
• Set up and maintain web, database, and application servers
• Automate routine tasks with scripts (Bash/PowerShell)
• Maintain clear documentation of configurations and procedures
• Support disaster-recovery planning and periodic drills
What we're looking for
• 2-5 years in server or systems administration• Strong Linux and/or Windows Server administration skills
• Experience with networking, backups, and security hardening
• Scripting for automation (Bash / PowerShell)
• Understanding of virtualisation and monitoring tools
• Good to have: cloud (AWS/Azure), Docker, and Ansible
• Good to have: relevant certifications (RHCSA/MCSA or similar)
