About the role

Apex Systems is a E-commerce company founded in 1992 and based in Dublin, Ireland. As a large organisation of 501 to 1,000 employees, we combine the pace, ambition and ownership of a modern business with a genuine commitment to quality, integrity and the people who work here. Apex Systems is a Dublin-based e-commerce firm established in 1992 with a clear mission to redefine its market. By blending automation, data, and human insight, the firm consistently raises the bar for quality and speed. You can learn more about us at https://www.apexsystems.in.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team, working on a hybrid basis from our Dublin office and from home. In this role you will be a key member of our Product Management function, contributing directly to our goals and working closely with talented colleagues across the business.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact. You will apply your skills in Product Strategy, Roadmapping and Agile to solve interesting problems, ship work you can be proud of and help us raise the bar for what we do. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share your ideas openly and have the support you need to do your best work and grow along the way.

You will bring around 3 to 6 years of relevant experience and strong, practical knowledge of Product Strategy, Roadmapping and Agile. Just as important are clear communication, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with people across different teams and backgrounds.

Within your first few months, you will get up to speed with our products, processes and people, build strong working relationships across the team, and begin taking ownership of your own work. Over time, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise, take on broader scope and grow your career with us as the company continues to scale.

In return, we offer a supportive, inclusive and collaborative environment, competitive pay, meaningful benefits and the chance to do work that genuinely matters. We care about our people, invest in their growth and want everyone here to be able to do the best work of their careers.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Apex Systems is an equal-opportunity employer: we welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Apply today and tell us why you would be a great fit.

Responsibilities

As a Product Manager at Apex Systems, you will play a central role within our Product Management function and take ownership of a broad and varied set of responsibilities. Working alongside a collaborative, motivated team, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead by example, setting a high bar for quality, collaboration and professionalism.
- Make and clearly communicate well-reasoned decisions, including difficult trade-offs.
- Champion a culture of discovery, experimentation and learning across the product team.
- Write clear product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, and partner with design and engineering to deliver them.
- Own and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs.
- Gather and prioritise requirements from customers, stakeholders and data, and maintain a well-groomed backlog.
- Make thoughtful trade-off decisions on scope, timing and quality, and clearly communicate the rationale.
- Define and track success metrics for each release, and use the results to inform future prioritisation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and keep everyone aligned through regular, transparent communication.
- Conduct user research, interviews and usability testing to deeply understand customer problems and validate solutions.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally while balancing technical constraints and business priorities.
- Analyse product metrics, funnels and experiments to measure impact and guide iterative improvement.
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market trends to inform product positioning.
- Coordinate cross-functional launches, working closely with marketing, sales, support and operations teams.
- Continuously develop your skills, seek feedback and stay current with the latest developments in your field.
- Uphold the company's values, policies, security requirements and standards of professional conduct in all activities.
- Ensure your work meets agreed quality, compliance and security standards before it is considered complete.
- Support onboarding, knowledge-sharing and documentation so the wider team can learn, scale and succeed.
- Take full ownership of your work, manage your own priorities and consistently deliver to a high standard and on time.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, learning from mistakes and celebrating shared wins.
- Collaborate respectfully and effectively with colleagues across teams, functions, time zones and locations.
- Participate constructively in team meetings, stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and bring forward practical ideas to make our products, processes and ways of working better.
- Represent the team and the company professionally in internal and external interactions.
- Contribute actively to a positive, inclusive, supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Proactively flag dependencies and coordinate with other teams to keep work moving smoothly.

- A supportive, inclusive and collaborative culture where your ideas are genuinely heard and your contribution truly matters.
- A home-office set-up allowance plus the laptop, equipment and tools you need to work comfortably and productively.
- A flat, low-ego environment where good ideas can come from anyone and are acted upon.
- Regular recognition and appreciation for great work, both publicly and privately.
- Flexible time-off arrangements and the trust to take the breaks you need, when you need them.
- Support for relocation where relevant, to help you make a smooth move and settle in quickly.
- Personal accident and term life insurance providing financial protection and peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
- Recognition of personal milestones with celebration leave and thoughtful gestures.
- A culture that actively encourages experimentation, stretch projects and learning from both wins and mistakes.
