We are looking for an enthusiastic, early-career Junior Accountant to join our team, working on a hybrid basis from our Lucknow office and from home. In this role you will be a key member of our Finance function, contributing directly to our goals and working closely with talented colleagues across the business.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact. You will apply your skills in Accounting, Reconciliation and Financial Reporting to solve interesting problems, ship work you can be proud of and help us raise the bar for what we do. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share your ideas openly and have the support you need to do your best work and grow along the way.
This role is open to fresh graduates and those early in their careers (0 to 1 years of experience). We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in Accounting and Reconciliation, a hunger to learn, attention to detail and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities
As a Junior Accountant at Apex Dynamics, you will play a central role within our Finance function and take ownership of a broad and varied set of responsibilities. Working alongside a collaborative, motivated team, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:- Monitor cash flow, working capital and key financial metrics and flag risks early.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve margins and strengthen financial discipline.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including reconciliations, accruals and month-end close.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Prepare, analyse and present accurate financial statements, reports and management information.
- Present financial findings and recommendations clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Support audits, both internal and external, by preparing schedules and responding to queries.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles, and track performance against targets.
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making, scenarios and investment cases.
- Represent the team and the company professionally in internal and external interactions.
- Communicate progress, risks and blockers clearly and proactively to your manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure your work meets agreed quality, compliance and security standards before it is considered complete.
- Collaborate respectfully and effectively with colleagues across teams, functions, time zones and locations.
