About the role

Echo Security is a Healthcare company founded in 2011 and based in Dublin, Ireland. As a mid-sized company of 201 to 500 employees, we combine the pace, ambition and ownership of a modern business with a genuine commitment to quality, integrity and the people who work here. Echo Security, launched in 2011, has grown into a trusted name across the healthcare landscape. A culture of curiosity and accountability drives every decision, from product design to long-term strategy. You can learn more about us at https://www.echosecurity.digital.

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team, working on a hybrid basis from our Dublin office and from home. In this role you will be a key member of our Human Resources function, contributing directly to our goals and working closely with talented colleagues across the business.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact. You will apply your skills in HR Strategy, Employee Relations and Performance Management to solve interesting problems, ship work you can be proud of and help us raise the bar for what we do. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share your ideas openly and have the support you need to do your best work and grow along the way.

You will bring around 3 to 6 years of relevant experience and strong, practical knowledge of HR Strategy, Employee Relations and Performance Management. Just as important are clear communication, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with people across different teams and backgrounds.

Within your first few months, you will get up to speed with our products, processes and people, build strong working relationships across the team, and begin taking ownership of your own work. Over time, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise, take on broader scope and grow your career with us as the company continues to scale.

In return, we offer a supportive, inclusive and collaborative environment, competitive pay, meaningful benefits and the chance to do work that genuinely matters. We care about our people, invest in their growth and want everyone here to be able to do the best work of their careers.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Echo Security is an equal-opportunity employer: we welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Apply today and tell us why you would be a great fit.

Responsibilities

As a HR Manager at Echo Security, you will play a central role within our Human Resources function and take ownership of a broad and varied set of responsibilities. Working alongside a collaborative, motivated team, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Represent your function in cross-functional and leadership discussions.
- Own key projects end to end, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery.
- Translate strategy into concrete plans and measurable outcomes for the team.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offers and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build effective, inclusive hiring processes.
- Support learning, development and career-growth programmes across the organisation.
- Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate employer-branding activities to attract and retain top talent.
- Support employee engagement, retention and relations initiatives that strengthen company culture.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees on HR questions, concerns and grievances.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion in everything from hiring to day-to-day practices.
- Design and deliver onboarding experiences that set new joiners up for success from day one.
- Administer HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles and policy updates.
- Continuously improve HR processes, tools and documentation for efficiency and a great employee experience.
- Adapt to changing priorities and remain calm, focused and effective in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and bring forward practical ideas to make our products, processes and ways of working better.
- Proactively flag dependencies and coordinate with other teams to keep work moving smoothly.
- Bring energy, curiosity and a solutions-focused mindset to everyday challenges.
- Take full ownership of your work, manage your own priorities and consistently deliver to a high standard and on time.
- Ensure your work meets agreed quality, compliance and security standards before it is considered complete.
- Support and step in for teammates when needed to help the team meet its shared goals.
- Contribute actively to a positive, inclusive, supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Participate constructively in team meetings, stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives.
- Represent the team and the company professionally in internal and external interactions.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, learning from mistakes and celebrating shared wins.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate respectfully and effectively with colleagues across teams, functions, time zones and locations.
