Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect, you own the cloud strategy and architecture for the organisation. You will design secure, scalable, cost-efficient cloud environments and guide teams through migrations and best practices. This is a senior leadership role combining deep cloud expertise with strategy and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise cloud architecture and migration strategy
• Define standards for security, networking, and cost management
• Lead cloud adoption, modernisation, and migration initiatives
• Review infrastructure designs and guide teams across projects
• Ensure compliance, high availability, and disaster recovery
• Establish governance, tagging, and cost-control practices
• Advise leadership on the cloud roadmap and spend
• Mentor cloud and DevOps engineers on best practices
• Evaluate new cloud services and tools for adoption

What we're looking for

• 8-15 years in infrastructure/cloud, including architecture work
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong background in security, networking, and Infrastructure as Code
• Proven experience leading large cloud or migration projects
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders
• Good to have: multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud experience
• Good to have: professional-level cloud certifications
