AWS Developer / Engineer

As an AWS Developer/Engineer, you build and run applications and infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. You will design cloud-native solutions using AWS services and keep them secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. The role suits an engineer with real hands-on AWS depth who enjoys designing for reliability and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy solutions using core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
• Build serverless and container-based architectures (Lambda, ECS/EKS)
• Automate infrastructure with CloudFormation or Terraform
• Set up IAM, VPC, security groups, and least-privilege access
• Monitor with CloudWatch and set up alerts and dashboards
• Optimise architecture for cost, performance, and availability
• Support CI/CD pipelines for AWS deployments
• Implement backups, DR, and security best practices
• Document architecture and operational runbooks

What we're looking for

• 3-6 years of hands-on AWS experience
• Strong with Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Good understanding of VPC networking and security
• Scripting and CI/CD familiarity
• Good to have: EKS/ECS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
• Good to have: AWS certification (Associate/Professional)
