We are looking for an enthusiastic, early-career Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team, working on a hybrid basis from our Palakkad office and from home. In this role you will be a key member of our Engineering function, contributing directly to our goals and working closely with talented colleagues across the business.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact. You will apply your skills in Circuit Design, PCB Layout and Altium to solve interesting problems, ship work you can be proud of and help us raise the bar for what we do. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share your ideas openly and have the support you need to do your best work and grow along the way.
This role is open to fresh graduates and those early in their careers (0 to 1 years of experience). We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in Circuit Design and PCB Layout, a hunger to learn, attention to detail and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Above all, we value curiosity, ownership and a positive attitude.
Within your first few months, you will get up to speed with our products, processes and people, build strong working relationships across the team, and begin taking ownership of your own work. Responsibilities
As a Associate Electrical Engineer at Tapti Beverages, you will play a central role within our Engineering function and take ownership of a broad and varied set of responsibilities. Working alongside a collaborative, motivated team, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:- Document technical decisions, write runbooks and share knowledge so the wider team can operate and extend your work.
- Review the work of your peers, provide constructive feedback and help raise the overall quality bar of the codebase.
- Translate product and business requirements into clear technical designs, breaking large problems into well-scoped, deliverable pieces of work.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes to enable safe and frequent releases.
- Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks and industry trends, and evaluate how they could benefit our stack.
- Design, build and maintain high-quality, well-tested and scalable solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and QA to ship reliable features on agreed timelines.
- Take part in on-call rotations where required and respond promptly and calmly to incidents and outages.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code, and contribute to shared libraries, tooling and engineering best practices.
- Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in reliability, latency and cost.
- Participate actively in design discussions, architecture reviews and technical planning sessions across the engineering organisation.
- Investigate, debug and resolve production issues, performing root-cause analysis and putting preventive measures in place.
- Communicate progress, risks and blockers clearly and proactively to your manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, care and integrity at all times.
- Continuously develop your skills, seek feedback and stay current with the latest developments in your field.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, learning from mistakes and celebrating shared wins.
